Mozilla Firefox（以下简称为“Firefox”），中文俗称为“火狐”，是由Mozilla基金会从Mozilla Application Suite独立出来采用开源与社区共同开发的网页浏览器。可以在多种操作系统运行，源代码以GPL/LGPL/MPL三种授权方式发布。

炫彩风格：通过选择浏览器外观来个性化你的浏览器，鼠标移动即可预览，点击即能应用主题，无须重启。
插件自动检测：通过自动检测老旧插件，避免用户潜在的网络安全攻击。
稳定性改进：显著降低因第三方软件造成的浏览器崩溃问题。
在线填表：自动帮助用户完成在线表格的填写。
性能改进：提升JavaScrip性能，大大提高了浏览器响应和启动的时间。
开放音频和视频：支持HTML5音视频、视频全屏播放及HTML5 File API，这个API 将让大大改善基于Web的文件上传操作，甚至可以实现直接将文件从桌面拖放至Web。
开放字体：除了支持OpenType和TrueType字体，火狐3.6现在还支持网络开放字体格式（WOFF）。
CSS属性：支持包括定义背景大小、背景图片渐变等。
设备定位：可跟据电脑的方位调整网页角度。
