Firefox for Android支持全功能的Firefox浏览器外，还带来了扩展、同步和Awesome Bar特性。

Mozilla在过去的几个月里为手机浏览器的性能花费了不少力气，程序本身进行了大量的架构变化，让滚动、缩放和播放动画时的性能更强，并支持现有的HTML5、CSS和JS等最新技术。

Firefox For Android 4.0 Beta3：

1、Android

完善了对Android键盘的支持，包括物理键盘和虚拟键盘；
新的Android风格菜单；
修复了从其它应用程序打开链接时存在的一个Bug问题；
支持上传文件；
网站菜单中新增了“另存为PDF”选项；
修复了Arabic和Farsi文本的渲染问题；

2、Firefox Sync

新的界面简化了安装；
支持自定义Firefox Sync服务器；

3、视频

全屏播放视频；
完善了音频性能；

4、用户界面

支持在URL地址栏中进行复制粘贴；
在智能窗口中输入时出现了搜索引擎；
通过插件管理器可以浏览推荐插件；

5、针对开发人员

localStorage API；
orientation events。
