Messaging middleware is an integral part of distributed SOA infrastructure. Celtix Advanced Messaging is a high-performance messaging platform that is based on the open Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP). Based on code from the Apache Qpid project (in incubation), Celtix Advanced Messaging supports multiple messaging patterns including point-to-point message queuing and publish-subscribe. It is packaged, tested, and supported by IONA and is also available as a component within the Celtix Enterprise open source ESB.
