./configure

rsync --help 

You can simply run rsync as a daemon, or you can have it started automatically by inetd. In /etc/services add:

rsync 873/tcp

and in /etc/inetd.conf add:

rsync stream tcp nowait root /usr/bin/rsync rsync --daemon --config=/etc/rsyncd.conf

/etc/rsyncd.conf

uid = nobody
gid = nobody
use chroot = no
max connections = 4
pid file = /var/run/rsyncd.pid
lock file = /var/run/rsync.lock
log file = /var/log/rsyncd.log

[www]

server运行 # rsync --daemon

client运行 rsync -avz -e ssh backup192.168.1.3::www /home/backup/www

rsync -avz /var/www [email protected]://home/www
or $ rsync -avz -e ssh remoteuser@remotehost:/remote/dir /this/dir/

或从服务器端发起镜像操作

rsync -vazu -e ssh ./* [email protected]:/home/www

将当前目录下的所有文件通过ssh协议传送到远程服务器的/home/www目录中。

另外scp 也能完成此操作

scp -p ./* [email protected]:/home/www

将当前目录下的所有文件通过scp工具传送到远程服务器的/home/www目录中。
