SailFin

SailFin adds SIP Servlets technology extension to GlassFish Application Server.

SIP and SIP Servlets are also important in the Enterprise. Combined with Java EE, SIP Servlets can be used to add rich media interactions to Enterprise applications. JSR 289 updates the SIP Servlets API and defines a standard application programming model to mix SIP Servlets and Java EE components.

SIP（Session Initiation Protocol，会话启动协议）已应用于许多目前极为常用的服务，如 IP 语音 (Voice-over-IP, VoIP) 电话服务、即时通讯、在线状态及好友列表管理，以及 Web 会议。SailFin 项目将 SIP Servlet 技术添加至 GlassFish 应用服务器。
